Membrane trousers Didriksons Svalört in blackare elaborated in great detail. Adult cut has waterproof zips, lots of pockets, waist and leg velcro closures. When properlylayered they are carried by adventurers all year round. 
Membrane pants with taped seams are perfectly waterproof and breathable.  (Water column: 10,000 mm Breathability: 5,000 g/m²/24h.) The adventurer will stay dry and not sweat.
They have proven themselves as reliable outdoor pants for children for all-day trips to the mountains as well as scout trips, camping. Pack them in your backpack and you don't need to carry spare pants, they dry in no time. 
Thanks to the option of leg extension, adventurers can wear them for up to 3 years. They are bigger than we are used to, i.e. even size 140 will fit a height of 150 cm or more. Don't take bigger than you have to :)
